Habitat for Humanity
Currently working with Habitat for Humanity, Paula has a strong passion for community involvement and reinvestment. As well, with 25 years of commercial banking experience, Paula Garcia-Young previously served as Business Relationship Manager at JPMorgan Chase (Santa Ana). Formerly a banking executive with both Farmers & Merchant’s Bank and Wells Fargo, Paula is known for placing strong emphasis on her customers’ needs and their unique challenges, and for being dedicated to support the communities where she lives and works. Throughout her career Paula has placed strong value on customer advocacy and support.
Paula currently serves as a volunteer and board member for a number of organizations including Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, High School Inc., Women Helping Women/Men 2 Work, ProVisors, A Foundation for Kids, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She also serves on the board of directors for the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In her role as a business partner for High School Inc.’s Global Business Academy, Paula works alongside high school educators to help students gain real-world experience and accelerate their careers in business disciplines after graduation. Paula is an graduate herself of Valley High School, making High School Inc.’s successes even more meaningful to Paula.
Paula has also been the recipient of multiple awards including Women Making a Difference from Lou Correa (2012), Principal of the Day at Valley High School (2011)
and Outstanding Volunteer Award through the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce (2009).
Paula enjoys spending time with her daughter, running triathlons and doing physical activities, as well as shopping.
